Serving others. It’s how we worship God. It’s how we identify with Jesus. It’s how we show the world that we love each other, that we love them, and that God loves them. Service is real. Service is practical. Service is sacrificial. Service is the hands and feet of Jesus moving and ministering in humility both inside and outside the body of Christ. No act of service is “too big” or “too small” for the follower of Jesus, and as we individually and collectively humble ourselves to serve others for the the glory of God, God in ways that only He can, exalts our work for His purposes and for the sake of the Gospel.

“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
